I met Daniel D. in April 2015. At that time he was the Branch Manager (VP of Mortgage Lending) for GuaranteedRate's Birmingham location. An opportunity came along and Daniel is now a loan officer/originator with Movement Mortgage's Vestavia Hills location. He went out of his way on many occasions to help me better understand the mortgage process and terms. On several occasions, Daniel stayed late at his office to answer questions and concerns I had about my loan. He was available by phone at almost all hours of the day and night to answer my questions even though he has a family, children, life, etc. Even though I would have completely understood given my numerous questions (via phone and e-mail) regarding mortgage financing, Daniel never sounded frustrated or impatient. Daniel made me feel like my real estate transaction really mattered to him even though I knew he had many other mortgages to handle concerning much larger purchase prices at stake. Regarding the bottom line, Daniel was able to secure a very competitive interest rate for my 30 year fixed. You can tell that Daniel D. is very well connected in the mortgage industry and well respected by his professional peers. More importantly, Daniel D. is great people person which is what undoubtedly makes him a great loan officer/originator. He is definitely in this career for the long haul as they say.
